Come on! Join us!
Almost every Brazilian team has a freekick specialist. Seems
that these guys grow on trees in Rio de Janeiro or Sao Paulo.
The most effective was Juninho Pernambucano who made a total
of 75 freekick goals in his career! Worldwide top and 10 more as
Englands Freekick King David Beckham.
Germany became 2014 World Champion but was unable
to score until FIFA World Cup Final in Rio de Janeiro
at least just one direct freekick goal! 105 matches …
In the meantime it is a fact: twelve years and
167 A National Team matches without a direct freekick goal!
Unbelievable!
Marco Reus stopped this bad run with his freekick goal
June 11, 2019 in Mainz to go with 5:0 into halftime vs Estonia.
Final result of this EC-Qualifier: Germany 8, Estonia 0.

No more the Germans should wait that long for such a goal in future …
Torsten Frings was the last one to score a direct freekick goal
February 7, 2007 in Düsseldorf vs Switzerland.
Giving Germany a 3:0 lead.
Final result: Germany 3, Switzerland 1.
Michael Ballack – scored June 16, 2008 in Vienna vs Austria
the 1:0 winner in a EURO Championship match – and Toni Kroos –
successful June 23, 2018 in Sochi to give Germany a 2:1 World Cup victory
late in extra time vs Sweden – stay in the books with indirect free kick goals.
Actually Italian Vincenzo Grifo (SC Freiburg) and Bayer Leverkusens spanish allrounder Alejandro Grimaldo are the most successful specialists in Bundesliga.

Two players shoot as follows:
Player A: 1. shot
Player B: 1. and 2. shot
Player A: 2. and 3. shot
Player B: 3. and 4. shot
Player A: 4. and 5. shot
Player B: 5. and 6. shot

In case there is the same number of goals
the decision comes by a jury.
